【禁聞】防茉莉花四開 警察多過行人

【新唐人2011年3月15日訊】上個週日，是中國第四波「茉莉花集會」的日子，中共當局再次動用大量的警力、物力進行高壓嚴控。在各集會地點，安保人員還多過路上的行人。與此同時，海外各界人士發起了支持中國「茉莉花行動」的聲音。

13號，當局出動大量警力防範「茉莉花集會」活動。據香港《明報》報導，在多個城市的指定散步集會地點，警察、便衣及安保人員超過真正的散步人士。

在北京，從上午開始，王府井大街、麥當勞餐廳門前就已經氣氛緊張，一些來往行人被要求出示證件。為防止學生參加「茉莉花活動」，北大禁止學生外出，校園內保安、警員比平時大幅增加。此外，王府井、西單的上網信號被切斷，到下午4點半才恢復。

而上海市的南京西路、西藏中路附近，傳出聚會人員被警方驅散，要求民眾不要在附近逗留。

當局除了加強警力戒備外，對各地民主異見人士的拘捕打壓也沒有停止。

《法國國際廣播電臺》援引設在香港的“中國人權民運信息中心”等方面提供的消息，從2月19號網傳「茉莉花集會」至今，已經知道被中共刑事拘留的有20人，罪名是“危害公共安全”、“煽動顛覆國家政權”等。還有幾十人被抄家、150多人次被限制人身自由，以及無法計算的維權人士和網友被監控。

與此同時，在海外聲援中國「茉莉花活動」的行動也如期舉行。

《自由亞洲電臺》報導，中國民主黨全國委員會共同主席王軍濤等40多人，在紐約時代廣場呼喊口號，以及唱茉莉花這首歌。

在香港，20幾名「社會民主連線」成員，手持茉莉花盆栽，由西區警署遊行到中聯辦，聲援中國茉莉花集會。並表示，以後每個星期天都會發起聲援行動。

中共對「茉莉花活動」的打壓，也引起了美國國會對中國人權狀況的擔憂。《德國之聲》報導，3月11號，美國哈佛大學法學院客座研究員、公民力量創辦人楊建利，他與另一位公民力量成員韓聯潮一起，與美國國會外交委員會主席羅斯•雷婷恩（Ros-Lehtinen）及國會人權委員會主席克里斯•史密斯（Chris Smith）會面。

史密斯表達了支持中國民眾爭取民主自由的態度，並高度關注中共最近一輪對人權的打壓，他表示計劃就此舉行有關聽證會。

另外，楊建利就中共最近拘留多人的人權問題，與美國國務院官員進行了交流和溝通，他希望美國政府能夠對中國人權問題發出強大、清晰的聲音。

Jasmine Rallies: More Police than Pedestrians

March 13 was the day for the 4th Jasmine Rally wave.

The CCP authorities mobilized a large police force

and resources to carry out high-handed control.

At rally locations, police outnumbered pedestrians.

Overseas groups started their support for this action.

On March 13, a large police force was deployed

to prevent Jasmine rally activities in China.

According to Hong Kong's Ming Pao Daily,

at the designated meeting places in many cities,

police and plain-clothed security personnel

outnumbered passers-by.

In Beijing, tension has built up since morning

on Wangfujing Street in front of McDonald's.

Some pedestrians were asked to show their IDs.

To prevent students from joining “Jasmine Activities",

Beijing University prohibited students from going out,

and increased security guards and police on campus.

Internet was cut off at Wangfujing and Xidan,

and didn』t resume until 4:30 p.m.

In Shanghai, it was said that meeting gatherers

were dispersed by the police.

In addition to strengthening the police

the regime continued its suppression of dissidents.

Radio France Internationale quoted Hong Kong-

based Information Center for Human Rights and

Democracy - since messages of Jasmine Rallies

appeared on Feb. 19, 20 people have been arrested

on charges of "endangering public security" and

"incitement to subvert state power”.

Dozens of people had their homes ransacked,

over 150 people have their personal freedom limited,

and countless rights activists and netizens

are currently being monitored.

Overseas activities supporting the Chinese Jasmine

Revolution took place as scheduled.

As per RFA, China Democratic National Committee

Co-chair, Wang Juntao, and over 40 members

shouted slogans on New York』s Times Square,

also singing a Chinese song called “Jasmine”.

In Hong Kong, League of Social Democrats

members marched with potted jasmine plants to

the CCP Central Government』s Liaison Office

in Hong Kong, in support of the Jasmine rallies.

There will be activities on every Sunday in the future.

CCP』s suppression of Jasmine activities also raised

U.S. Congress』s concerns on China's human rights.

According to Deutsche Welle, on March 11,

Founder of Civil Force, Yang Jianli,

and another member, Han Lianchao,

met with Ileana Ros-Lehtinen,

U.S. Congress Foreign Relations Committee Chair,

and Human Rights Committee Chair Chris Smith.

Smith expressed his support for Chinese people』s

struggle for democracy and freedom.

He is greatly concerned with the latest round of

CCP suppression of human rights.

He said he planned a hearing about this.

Yang Jianli discussed with the U.S. officials

the human rights issue of CCP』s mass detention.

He hoped the U.S. government would make a strong

and clear stand on the human rights issues in China.
