“Desperate Terrorists” Challenge Beijing

It's been a time of protest in China lately.

The French Le Figaro reported the despaired people

in China stirred up a whirlwind of violent protests

aiming directly to challenge Beijing.

The RFI had a report quoting Lagrange, Le Figaro

reporter in Beijing, that the current most threatening

terror was not from outside, but domestic from those

who are in despair. Besides, the presence of the ongoing

Inner Mongolia protests and the fear of the Arab spring,

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was much terrified.

At the end of May, 52-year-old Qian Mingqi created

3 bombings in row in Wuzhou city, Jiangxi province.

Official media said that 3 were dead and Qian himself

also died on the spot. The underlying story was

a petitioner bearing 10 years of unresponded petition.

Last Sept., in Wuzhou, there were another 3 people

who committed self-immolation for the same reason.

Wu Fan(Critic): Ordinary people at first were so much

grovelling. They even kneed down, pleaing in vain

to receive any responses, then they resorted to violent

means such as self-immolation, self-injury, and suicide.

The folks are now awakened and understand petition

is not a way out. Instead, they respond with violence.

How did this “desperate terrorism” get in form in China?

Hong Kong based Ming Pao editorial suggests,

the violent “extreme incidents” in China were triggered

by people whose personal interests were endangered,

with nowhere to obtain justice, but officials' corruption,

violence in politics and bias in legal system

have become the origin of the revolt.

Many ironical things have taken place in China recently:

Ai Weiwei missing for 10+ days and no law-enforcing

department informed his family about this;

Zhao Lianhai, parent of the victims of melamine-tainted

milk powder, sentenced for supporting victims' rights;

Parents of the child victims in Sichuan earthquake

got beaten for investigating jerry-built buildings;

Xu Wu of Wuhan city was forcefully sent to

a mental hospital for constant petitions;

rights activists were missing or detained nationwide.

Su Ming(Former Beijing University History Professor):

Given the 30 years of corruption, robbery and wickedness

in the CCP regime, the petitioners are rising in numbers

from 20,000 of 30 years ago to over 40 million today.

When people are suppressed to a certain degree,

they will not just speak but take actions to revolt.

Prior to Qian Mingqi, there were Shanghai's Yang Jia,

known as “Knife Hero”; Hunan's Zhu Juan shooting

the judge, the “Gun King”; Liaoning's Yang Yi killed

the demolishing leader, acclaimed by folks as a “hero.”

Critic Heng He says, individual revolts are unable to

change the CCP's behavior.

Heng He: Victims have to truly realize the CCP's nature.

To fundamentally resolve the problem, one has to

resign from the CCP and help others do so, so as to

ultimately disintegrate the CCP.

It's an absolute good deed if all victims do so.

On the Epoch Times website, 96,212,108 people have

quit from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Recently, in a city of China, a rising balloon carried

a banner reading “Down with CCP, Up with People,”

drawing tremendous public attention and discussion.
