【新唐人2012年3月17日訊】自從重慶市副市長王立軍向美領館尋求政治庇護事件發生後，重慶市委書記薄熙來的仕途前景，連日來一直是海內外熱烈討論的話題，15號薄突然被免職，中國民間嘩然，短短3個多小時有關消息點擊率達280多萬次，不過，除新浪微博有一些評論外，各大網站全部關閉了相關評論及跟帖﹔16號，中國「微博實名制」開始生效，中共當局阻止未經註冊的用戶轉貼、發帖。
薄熙來突然被免職令外國媒體愕然，對薄進行了廣泛、萬花筒式的評價。同時，有西方媒體感慨，這是中共政界最具戲劇化的事件，認為薄熙來政治生涯因王立軍的醜聞已終結，使得今秋中共權力更加複雜化。
中國網民對薄被免職一事的關注更是超乎想像，網絡像炸了鍋，短短3個多鐘頭有關消息的點擊率已達280萬次，各微博論壇的話題焦點幾乎都圍著薄熙來一人繞。但是，除了新浪微博有一些評論外，各大網站的評論及跟帖全部被關閉。
中國藝術家艾未未在推特就薄被免職一事評論說：「無論歇了還是掛了，都屬於黑社會的自殘，不意味著人民的日子會更好，更自由。哪怕是一點呢。」
中國「權利運動」發起人之一的胡軍就中共封鎖評論及跟帖指出，中共整人的噩夢沒醒，仍在相互殘殺。
胡軍：「他們這一幫子人大部分人都是從文革走過來的，他們也都是老毛給培養出來的吧，沒腦子的『鏍絲釘』，他們相互殘殺，就是這步棋，今天薄熙來下去了，下一個薄熙來是誰？下一個王立軍是誰？他們應該考慮這些問題，而不是說不讓人說話。」
騰訊、新浪、搜狐、網易四大門戶的微博網站16號在北京、廣州等地，實行新註冊用戶「實名制」，用戶必須提交身份證號碼、手機號碼等信息註冊認證，沒註冊的用戶將禁止發帖和轉發。
自從去年12月北京頒布微博管理規定後，為抗議實名制和網絡監管，一些知名博客相繼離開新浪微博。雖然當局通過媒體力挺實名制，但來自各界的反對聲音從沒平息過。
前「山東大學」教授孫文廣：「微博作為當前社會上很流行的一種表達方式，那麽中共當局想盡辦法把這個微博控制住，政府公布的一個信息，大家不同意在微博上揭露，中共當局把消息封鎖了，那麽大家只能根據外面傳說的內容來進行評論，它就想各種辦法做限制，搞實名制啊搞甚麽。」
北京兩會期間，中共更是加大對網絡的管控，許多敢言人士被禁言，各大論壇、微博封號刪貼，還有網民因轉發敏感網貼被當局拘留、處罰，遭酷刑。
兩會期間胡軍因辦網站，幫訪民維權，被當局斷網至今。
胡軍：「他現在把我的網給斷了，不讓我說話，不讓我上網，這是非常可笑的事情，你堵著這些東西能起任何作用嗎？一樣擺脫不了它們覆滅的命運，因為這種民主大潮的力量不是來源於哪幾個人，哪幾個人說幾句話，這是歷史潮流，不是哪個人可阻擋的，也不是哪幾個人說話能左右的，所以他們最好能清醒一點，把內心那種骯髒的東西早點拋棄，早點還政於民，這才是應該做的事情。」
四川南充兩名網友因轉發當地兩名檢察官嫖娼被抓，其中一位至今仍未獲釋。
《博訊》網站報導，兩會期間，一些人大代表的國籍身份受到質疑，中紀委的一份調查，按照去年2月的數據推算，目前政協代表76.77%有外國護照，人大代表57.47%有外國護照，消息在微博曝光後，引髮網民一片嘲罵，14號，被當局懷疑曝光這則消息的3名網友，慘遭拘捕和酷刑。
「結石寶寶」家長趙連海：「在今天普世價值倡導言論自由，這樣一個普世價值的前提下，而有些人公然去用各種理由和藉口去扼殺人說話的權力，這個是應該遭到譴責和鄙視的。實際上在今天來講，扼殺言論...我們眾所周知就是在給獨裁專制為它們去助紂為虐。」

Bo Xilai Fired, Mainland Website Bans Comment Postings
Ever since Chongqing deputy mayor Wang Lijun escaped to
the U.S Consulate seeking political asylum,
the future of Chongqing Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
Secretary Bo Xilai has been the hottest discussion topic in and out of mainland China.
When Bo was suddenly fired on March 15, the news
triggered over 2.8 million hits in less than three hours.
However, except for some comments on SINA, most major
mainland websites have disabled the ability to post follow up comments.
On March 16, the Chinese regime started implementing
real identity verification for micro-blog accounts.
Tthe regime restricts unregistered users from
making postings.
Bo Xilai's sudden dismissal has stunned foreign media,
many of whom have made comments regarding Bo.
At the same time, western media believe that this is the
most dramatic event in CCP politics. and also believe
that Bo's political career has ended because of the Wang
Lijun scandal, making the CCP's power balance even more precarious as it is complex.
Chinese netizens' interest in Bo's removal from office
has been beyond all expectation.
In less than three hours, there were over 2.8 million hits on
related news.
The top discussions on every forum or blog seem to be
about Bo Xilai.
However, except for some comments on SINA, most
websites had disabled the ability to post comments.
Renowned mainland Chinese artist Ai Weiwei wrote
on his Twitter, “No matter if (he) is retired, or dead, it's all part of the infighting of the underworld. This doesn't mean the common people's lives will get better,
or more free. Not even a little bit.”
Regarding the ban on comments, one of the Chinese
“Rights Movement” initiators Hu Jun commented that,
the CCP's nightmare is still not over, they are all still killing each other.
Hu Jun says, “Most of them came out
of the “Cultural Revolution”.
They were trained by Mao Zedong, and are just
mindless screws.
They fight and kill each other, this is part of the plan.
Today Bo Xiliai came down, who will be the next Bo Xilai?
Who's the next Wang Lijun?
They should think about this issue, and not stop everyone
from talking.”
Tencent, Sina, Sohu, Netease, the four major micro-blog
domains started real identity validation in Beijing, Guangzhou and other places.
New users must provide their ID card number, cellphone
numbers and other information in order to register.
Since Beijing announced micro-blog real-identity
validation and censorship in December of last year, many well known bloggers left SINA micro-blog.
While the regime promotes the real name system
through it's media campaign.
The protesting voices from all sides have never stopped.
Former Shandong University Professor Sun Wenguang ,
comments : “micro-blog is a popular form of expression in current society, so the CCP has tried everything to control it.
The government annouces something, everyone reveals
the truth behind it on the micro-blog, then, the CCP censors the news.
The Chinese regime blocks the information, so that
everyone can only speculate on what is really true based on rumors.
It has tried various methods to restrict the flow,
like real identity validation etc.”
During the two sessions in Beijing, the CCP
increased control over the Internet.
Many who dared to speak were banned; posts and accounts
on major forums and micro-blogs were deleted.
Some netizens were arrested, fined, or tortured for posting
sensitive information.
During the two sessions, Hu Jun tried to make websites
for helping petitioners, so the regime completely cut off his Internet access.
Hu Jun, “They have cut off my Internet, don't allow me to
speak, don't allow me online, this is such a joke.
What is the purpose behind all this?
The regime still can't escape it's eventual doom, because
the power of democracy doesn't originate from a few, from the few that speak.
This is the tide of history, not something a few people can
stop, not something a few people can control.
So they would better being more aware and throwing away
the dirt they have inside them.
They would be better off returning the ruling authority back
to the people, this is what they should do.”
Two netizens from Nanchong, Sichuan, was arrested for
exposing two local prosecutors who visit prostitution ring.
One of them still have not been released.
Boxun reported, during the two sessions, the nationality of
some National Congress representatives were questioned.
According to a report by the Central Commission for
Discipline Inspection, as of Feb of last year,
76.77% of political commission representatives have
foreign visa.
57.47% of National Congress representatives have
foreign passport.
This information caused a storm of criticism when it was
posted on Chinese micro-blog.
On march 14, the three netizens who the regime accused
of spreading the news were detained and tortured.
